After the work I did updating my Environmental Science and Natural Hazards resources pages, of course our federal government has fully embarked on a program of destroying science and education. So, more updates and if anyone has any suggestions let me know.🧪⚒️

I think I finally have a seasonal one that I am happy with. And I managed to sneak it all in without the cats helping me. One is curled up in her white fluffy donut and the other is laying down with my daughter. It is actually kinda calm tonight.

I finished grading! Before the deadline even! Yay!

To celebrate I have sketched out a light dragon. Rather than paying attention to anything else in the wider world because OMFG.

I plan to sleep through Thursday.

Feeling very depressed today so I made something very silly. I know it is too busy, especially with the space photo of Orions Belt in the background.

Kitty Art 2.

Two classes down and one to go. Snow got really deep today. It took me three times as long to get home.

My kitty is helping by stealing the power cord and trying to chew on it. I am paying too much attention to the computer and not enough to her obviously.

Back to space jellyfish following a star. I think it is an adult one followed by young this time.

One class down - two to go. I am back to blues again but at least it seems to be a more cheerful sort of glowing blue snowflake crystal pattern.

(Senate meeting today so this is actually pretty paradoxical since the meeting made me depressed and anxious.)

Decided to stop making blue things and try something more seasonal. Play with it long enough that I have started hating it so I will leave it for now and see what I can use it for later.

Graded stuff all day and still SOOOO much grading to do.
Cloudyish green background that is supposed to be fabric like with white lace ribbons and springs of holly symmetrically scattered about going from tiny in the center to large on the edges.

Apropos of nothing in particular, I have been providing pencils in my general education classes, yes at a university, for the past few years. I just quietly lay some out on a countertop near the door each class. At the finals I gave on Monday at least 6 students needed to grab one to take the exam.

Stupid cold outside today so cold art I guess?
2 finals down & 1 to go. They rented the atrium of our building out to an outside group to hold some kind of event today & they had the audacity to do a sound check during the exam! I had to go out an yell at them. Ridiculous!

It appears that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has, within the past week, scrubbed a large amount of climate change content from its official website, as well as *removed human-caused warming* from the discussion on its "causes of climate change" page.
Snapshot of US EPA's "causes of climate change" webpage as of 12/8/2025. Human causes are no longer mentioned anywhere on the page.

Science Olympiad Scrimmage today, so a very, very long day. Ended up playing with some modes in Procreate and started this more or less by accident. Am supposed to be writing a final exam.

I tend to make these over time while sitting in meetings that I don't want to be in. It helps me stay at least a little focused on the meeting.
