Governments have choices about how they implement their plans. It is astonishing to see the missteps taken by DHSC so far.

There is still the time and opportunity to change, but a big rethink on how Primary Care policy is being rolled out is needed.

I sometimes worry I exaggerate the collective madness of our media but the people who cheered Brexit, Boris Johnson & Liz Truss's mini-budget are now applauding Kemi Badenoch's speech. 'Parallell universe' doesn't come close. I suppose her not falling over is a win of sorts for them at the moment.

We lack the resources, capacity and capabilities to meet the needs of our patients if we can’t switch off online requests when we are full

Not to mention mandating we MUST contact the patient THAT SAME DAY no matter how many patients contact us 🤯
