Not a lot of knitting being done lately, but I’m *this* close to having my Turtle Dove 2 done. Why is it the closer I am to done the longer it takes? #showmeyourknits #knitsky

Gift knits! I don’t gift a lot of my knits, but when I do, they are small things like socks. Here are a few of mine.

I always have at least one sock on the needles and one long term project. My long term project is in time out because it keeps frustrating me, so this WIP will shortly be an FO. #knitsky #showmeyourknits

I have only done 1 colorwork project, but it is a pattern inspired by my local National Park, CVNP. I think I needed to try a less complicated, less “artistic”project, but only being a hat, I’m cool with it. 🧶 #knitsky #showmeyourknits

The theme for this week’s #showmeyourknits is green. I like the color in general, but haven’t knitted a lot in that color. Here are the trigger mitts I made for my son who does WW2 reenacting. I also made some neon green (glows under blacklight!) socks I made for a coworker. 🧶

Is it any wonder that two of my three most soothing shows currently are Daredevil: Born Again and Invincible?

I used to be an avid crocheter—knitting scared me—but once I got the hang of knitting, I was determined to learn to knit socks. They are my favorite thing to knit and my whole family wears them. Here is a sampling of the socks I’ve made in the past 4 years. #showmeyourknits

Musk’s team of DOGE incels will show up when the doors open on Monday to take over the government’s central accounting system. There needs to be vigorous pushback on the ground. I sincerely hope there will be.

But let’s talk about protests for a second. 🧵

The right thing to do is to put out a statement saying that Democrats will consider this to be insurrection against the US government and Constitution, and that those who take seriously their oath have 1 week to arrest and detain Musk or be considered offering him aid and comfort.
Musk shared a statement from someone suggesting various reasons for defying court orders. That comment stated, "I don’t like the precedent it sets when you defy a judicial ruling, but I’m just wondering what other options are these judges leaving us…”
