I’ve recently learned that several federal law enforcement agencies are soliciting for volunteers from inside to be cross-trained in riot control and to also serve as protective officers for federal facilities.

This isn’t new, per se. The federal government has done this before…

Dear federal employees:

Maybe everyone should start sending their bills to the RNC & to Mike Johnson, along with invoices for paychecks WITH INTEREST, whether you’re working without pay, furloughed, or RIFed. Maybe if enough people do it, SOMEONE SOMEWHERE who can DO SOMETHING will get the message.

Trump literally said his layoffs will mostly hit Democratic programs/agencies. He’s deliberately hurting thousands of federal employees and their families directly who did not ask for this because he has an axe to grind with the Democrats.

I’m so angry about all of this that I have no words.

No…if you’re on your regular days off or pre-approved leave, you’re good. There’s no checking in. But if you’re scheduled to work and call off, they might mark you AWOL. Whether they do it wholesale, case-by-case, or don’t do it at all probably depends on the agency.

Some agencies are starting to compile lists of names of employees who have called off work during the shutdown, possibly to mark them AWOL. This could be a pretext and first real step towards those mass layoffs Trump and Vought keep promising to do again.

Serious question: What's stopping the State of Illinois from arresting Stephen Miller & charging him with incitement?

The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy.

At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.

BREAKING:

The Supreme Court just rejected Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal of her criminal conviction for recruiting and grooming teenage girls for sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein.

The decision means that her conviction and 20-year criminal sentence remain in place.
