This is the pattern I always notice with writers in any medium where they just don't have the cultural intelligence to understand why people are ever mad at them.
It's exactly the same as when everyone just wanted Apu in The Simpsons recasted and they reacted, "So erase him into the BG? Yeah? Ok."

The car is only the cherry on top. It's been a rough few months. More of the same, unfortunately. I've been struggling. My mental health has been at close to 0 and barely recovering.

I called the other insurance company earlier, and there's still no update. Arbitration is going to take a while.
Meanwhile my insurance company is firm that the accident is 100% the other driver's fault.

It’s like the stars aligned on this one
