Sono sconvolta: in Francia ci si mette in fila per un po’ d’acqua non avvelenata. I PFAS hanno contaminato i rubinetti di interi comuni. Vi ricorda qualcosa? Forse le nostre aree rosse venete, dove da anni beviamo acqua pulita solo se arriva con l’autobotte.

There's good reasons to block people to prevent interactions, but it's important to understand the boundaries of what tech (and protocols) can do. And it's our responsibility as designers to try to align users' expectations as closely as possible to what's really happening.

This is an EU proposed policy with the benign-sounding name "Child Sexual Abuse Regulation" which proposes to screen private online communications using sketchy image-scanning algorithms. It is technically unworkable, and would be a privacy catastrophe, especially for those in authoritarian states
