If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.

Rewatching AtLA has got me thinking about power systems where the martial arts are explicitly philosophical as well as physical, and the design space that could encompass in ttrpg - sadly i do not have the project bandwidth to make this myself, and the official avatar ttrpg isn't interested in it

I don't have a solution - I wish I did. I have sympathy. Stepping away from it, removing it as an obligation, is probably the ideal - returning if you feel the urge to return.

The game proliferates and exists primarily in the community, there's some comfort there - but you don't have to stay.

And that fucking sucks! That fucking sucks because, in our current system, the best way to spread art is through corporate patronage.

Living in a situation where all interactive art is snapped up by or created at the behest of corporations who fundamentally don't give a shit is fucking miserable.

This is the horror of the fact that really big pieces of art are almost necessarily corporate products. I experienced it with dnd when WotC started shitting the bed over licensing & my wife has been experiencing it continuously with how Hasbro handles MLP.

Corporations are terrible stewards of art.
