Loooove this one.
Drew a Hound of Tindalos from a short story by Frank Belknap Long, released in a short story collection of his work in 1946.

The hounds are creatures that exist outside of time and space. They can emerge in the form of smoke from any angle of a certain sharpness, like the corner of a room.

This is one of my all time favorite designs. I love how Guy carries the language over to the smaller versions. They're just perfect and the props looked amazing on screen.
The Lab Battery’s Tale~ more concept designs for @realgdt.bsky.social FRANKENSTEIN! In early 2022 before production started I worked with Guillermo on keyframes & designs including the lab and battery towers! The approved designs stuck from the early phase and would carry over to the final film.

Gorgeous work! I got to see the keyframe for this early and it became my most anticipated part of the film. Did not disappoint!
Hello Blueksy . Been a while! Here’s a post I’ve made on a few other platforms, bringing it over here b - the frozen horse sculpture I did for Guillermo Del Toros “ Frankenstein” . The guys over at Thingergy killed it with this one . Printed out life sized and dressed to the nines!

Guy's work is so incredible. Imloved this part of the flick, the imagery is burned into my brain. That puppet based on this design, absolutely amazing.
The Cadaver’s Tale~ Some concept designs I did for the animated cadaver & props/keyframe from @realgdt.bsky.social incredible FRANKENSTEIN! Also collaborating with Mike Hill who sculpted and made the puppet (and puppeteered it to life) with the final screen performance digitally augmented by MRXFX!

Color comps from our SWAP MEAT game trailer. Gonna' start posting more art from my gig.

There's a demo and early access on STEAM if you want to try it out, and if you could leave a review we'd greatly appreciate it. They're super important for small teams. store.steampowered.com/app/2790700/...

I dig this a lot. Wish movies would push this kind of stuff into their aesthetic. It'd be bold and unique.

The Creature is one of my all time fav monster designs. I tried to draw it so many times as a kid, probably a big reason I went into art in the first place.

She also designed another fav of mine, the Metaluna Mutant!

An incredible talent.
On her birthday, we'd like to remember special effects makeup artist Milicent Patrick who famously designed the Gill Man suit for Universal's CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON.

Happy Frankenstein Day! Felt like winding down with some fan art of @realgdt.bsky.social’s flick, which released today on Netflix but is also still in theaters, which is where I recommend seeing it.

Loved this film.

What a journey. FRANKENSTEIN, a film by @realgdt.bsky.social, is now playing on Netflix globally. Our team had the honor of creating the VFX for this epic story as the lead visual effects partner, led by Overall VFX Supervisor Dennis Berardi. #Frankenstein #VFX

Such a visual feast. Guy’s work is all over this in the best possible way. I walked out of the theater feeling like I have not in some time, it's so epic and grand, but uniquely personal to GDT.

I recommend seeing it in a theater if you can, but it's available to anyone with Netflix now.
Today~ Its Alive!! @realgdt.bsky.social incredible FRANKENSTEIN film is now streaming on Netflix! An amazing journey and incredible production to have worked on as Head of Concept Design and couldn’t be more thrilled and proud seeing everyone’s inspiring work come to life! Will post concepts soon!

A beast of a book! It's a perfect companion piece to @realgdt.bsky.social Frankenstein film. My humble brag is that I have 2 pics in it. I was on it for about week painting up some incredible @guydavisart.bsky.social keyframes (tbh they were already perf).

See the film in a theater if possible!

‘Half surprised by the novelty of these sensations, I allowed myself to be borne away by them, and forgetting my solitude and deformity, dared to be happy.'
Maruka Magic Robo Killer Robot! This is probably named “Killer Robot” and not after the extremely public domain Frankenstein’s Monster as they probably didn’t bother to license the very much not public domain Universal design (naughty). The Franken-Tank mode has fun a pull-back motor. Lovely art!

Saw Frankenstein today.

What an utterly beautiful work of art, every bit of it. Definitely in my top 5 of his films. I hope there will be physical copies.

Our theatre clapped, bravo to the whole team!
