A bit random, but I love how they straight up stopped making any sort of sense even within their bigotry

Wtf is "DEI" about having female characters in a game? Do the devs get monetary incentives or tax breaks for every female character? Is it "affirmative action" to have any minorities in a game?

silly gamemaker thought it could sneak one by me: a function for fast 3D sphere culling was quietly added in beta a few weeks ago, which is by far faster than equivalent solutions implemented manually

It's not the dumbest thing I've ever heard, but I do think in Current Year it should be acceptable to put a little note on the bottom of the steam page that says "if you install this on a spinny drive your experience will be sub-optimal"

old game discs are full of this kind of thing, I have to imagine the benefits of doing it on a spinny hard drive would be blunted because the game isn't actually in control of where the disk's hardware controller actually writes the data though (fragmented sectors etc)
