Bsky can handle 3-minute videos now, so I can upload my #AnimationReel natively!
I stayed up too late last night to rewatch "The Martian" because I desperately needed to experience smart characters solving problems.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos says the streamer has no "opposition" to releasing Warner Bros. movies in theaters, but hints that "windows will evolve to be much more consumer friendly."

I can't believe @kenplume.bsky.social has never shared this rare Disney documentary footage of the Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers theme song studio recording session, where legendary keyboardist Perry "Pecker" Spelgowitz performed the vibe-defining synth keys part in a SINGLE TAKE.

20 years ago, I tackled walk cycles in "Evil Josh & Billy" using the "Bullwinkle" approach. It was all about getting anything out the door as quickly as I could every 1-2 weeks, 90% on my own. The DIY landscape has changed significantly in that time so taking my time this time. Time timey time-time.

Sure is whiplash to end an online meeting with such creative, talented people with Zoom pushing its "AI Companion" tools.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is one of my favorite holiday specials. Its message of love being more important than stuff really resonates with me. Just thinking about that for reasons.

Watching a Rankin-Bass special in 4K, I could see every string holding up a puppet and every crease in the fabric of the backdrop. Fascinatingly, modern digital video made it look more analog than ever!

There is a direct correlation between how fake your job is and how much value you see in AI
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

Do you ever think about how the arguments for AI are actually arguments for a robust socialism?

“I was so poor I couldn’t afford supplies to make art or music, so paying for ai gives kids a chance to…”

WHAT IF INSTEAD OF AS A FUNDING AI COMPANIES WE FUNDED ART, MUSIC, AND EDUCATION YOU DOOFUS?!
