The view was nicer before they rebuilt the house across the street. I’ve been torn down and now there’s less beauty for me to see

be devoured, but by someone who knows the taste of longing like you do

Your love doesn’t fix me, it frees me…..

I will know you by your beauty and misery.

You saw beauty in my flaws, I heard truth in your chaos…..

Knowing what's coming doesn't make things easier.

His dried roses draw blood
Your soft violets caress

I have to get better at letting go of what's let go of me.

Even after you’ve gone
Your impression on me remains

Sometimes I think you punish me, but you do it oh so subtly

a nap date whilst it’s raining and I’m wearing your shirt

I yearn for him..a silent ache,
A wish I whisper, wide awake.
He walks untouched by all I feel,
His heart a door that will not yield….
I dream in colors, bright and free…
He drifts in gray, away from me
But still I hope, though hope feels cruel…
Love writes its laws, and makes no rule….

Still a bit in love with the you I thought I knew

If in this life
we never meet
I hope to see you

The love in her eyes is as raw as winter but as soft as rain…..

Wandering through the neonlit boneyard in my mind

People were not made to look to the sky and see no stars.
