Episode 16 - Early summer breezes (43 mins)

On a bright day during the first lockdown, just the sound of the wind and the birds and a far-off ice-cream van from a hill on the edge of London.

Great article and marvellous middle aged relaxed fit discourse.
A probably rare reference to Mulligan & O'Hare in a fashion article: for The Guardian, I've written about the enduring appeal of workwear, with a focus on how the generous cuts and boxy shapes suit the sportswear-averse, expanding & ageing male body:

‘It’s an acceptance of where my body is now’ – the modern-day appeal of workwear
Its popularity is as enduring as its fabrics – and it allows men to age stylishly without worrying about their waistlines. One collector delves into the reasons the ordinary clothes of workers past li...

Would you mind if I gave my zines a little push again? Hopefully the first batch(es) have reached owners now. Maybe a good Christmas gift for someone who likes photography 👀.

Here are four pics of the same house taken over several years. #Zine #Photography

No AI was used in the production of this artwork. Instead, I commissioned an artist to create it. Cost less and supported someone in their artistic endeavours. Double win.

It comes with music pressed onto a bio-vinyl disc. You can own a copy, too 😉

I was already a big SRV fan when I picked up this tape, released just a few months after his untimely death in 1990. Nile Rodgers on hand to capture the supremely funky performances from Jimmie & Stevie Ray, the production is spot on. Guest appearance from Rockin’ Sidney too, top notch. #cassunday

Here's an extract of one of the tracks from my performance in Belfast in 2023:
