Really recommend watching Cursed Video from the series, if nothing else. It presents an extremely plausible and down-to-earth story, but it's got a bit of mystery and a bit of comedy in it, and of course plenty of chills.

Started watching Brain Powerd, and it's insane how everything about it is good except for the dialogue, which feels like it was written by someone having a stroke in the middle of an empty parking lot.

Food for thought... There's a lot of talk about speeding up game development, given how many recent games took 5-7 years to make. But many of those were hampered by the switch from Unreal 4 to 5. And ALL of them lost months to covid. Perhaps one way to make games faster is to not have a pandemic

This happened to me with Castles of burgundy. Never could get into the old version, it was so ugly. However, the special edition was an instant hit and it's now of my favorite games. It was a wake up call, a GREAT game can be hiding behind a very ugly coat of paint!

Bohnanza. Both the theme of being a "bean merchant" and the weird art makes it hard to convince anyone to try the game out.

Twilight Struggle. It is top tier semi-asymmetrical 2p game but whenever I show it to someone the look at it and say nope
