Those of us who work in comics should never forget what these characters can mean.

So... this is how I find out Lady Gaga didn't record a Steve Miller Band cover? (How many times has that joke been made)

This will be just like how Biff built his casino right on top of the Hill Valley City Hall.

I am really scared for the safety of my mom and sister who are teachers in FL. (And my other sister who works at Disney!)

I think my screening of SEND HELP today might be among my favorites. Just me and a bunch of fellow Nashville residents who needed to get the fuck out of the house for some two hours of fun after the awful week we've had here. Rachel McAdams and Sam Raimi gave everyone everything they wanted.

ABSOLUTE BATMAN is just awesome.

Oh yeah, like I'm supposed to just go about my day while the regime is arresting people just for working in the same field as me.

I left my phone in another room so I could just escape by watching a movie where a jaded American sailor helps a French guy and his wife escape fascists and then I look at my phone to find out American fascists killed another person. This is insane.

"Just stay cool and don't make trouble until the midterms" is not going to cut it as an opposition response to a murderous regime whose masked thugs are killing people in the streets and then attempting to round up witnesses and destroy evidence.

My snow day plans... it's been soooooo long since I last watched these.

Wow, I am not a big fan of that Best Picture field, but excited to see the noms there for THE SECRET AGENT and BUGONIA. I can sorta understand FRANKENSTEIN, but F1 is kinda odd.

I know everyone gets up in arms over Cruz escaping to sunny places when Texas gets hit hard by winter storms, but I don't see TN's US Reps and Senators caring to be here. Like is Ogles really going to make appearances with Nashville's mayor?

The double cognitive load of a) the President is deranged, and nobody in power acting he's deranged is stressful, and b) there are millions of Americans who get their news from media sanewashing the President, so they don't *know* he's deranged, so they think *we're* deranged, is ... fun.

Kinda funny that Trump thinks "asylum" means other countries send people from insane asylums, and a) this is real life, not a ham-handed Idiocracy-type satire, b) he has surely been corrected several times but is incapable of updating his priors, & c) most media politely agree not to mention it.
