"Does it...does it feel like agony for you too?" makes me feel incredibly seen. Carrying long-term (sometimes reluctant, some times enthusiastic) feelings is a physical ache. Like hunger, like a kick to the gut. A bruise constantly pressed on that you do and don't want to see healed. Fuck.
