This is actually what made me finally actively get off Twitter. I came across CSAM
When I went to report it had already been flagged and taken down but it sounds like that's *not* the norm

Incredible that Twitter is just openly tolerating child sexual abuse material now, and that regulators and advertisers are still putting up with it.
Twitter/X users are starting to report running into child pornography on the site.

Re the civility trap: it also links up with "white women's tears" because it's a performance of unbothered vs bothered and how a shallow performance of kindness and civility is weaponized because normally someone having a public cry because someone else told them to leave them alone isn't normal...
