Yesterday, the UK PM had a call with the leaders of France & Germany. Together they issued a statement on Gaza,Iran & Ukraine.

On Gaza they welcomed the peace deal, but agreed all parties now must implement their obligations.

They also spoke of how they will support aid packages via the UN.

Well done to the Royal Marines!

They have successfully taken part in a dramatic counter-drugs interception of boats traveling at 40 knots across the Gult of Oman.

From helicopters a direct sniper shot was made into a boat engine,to knock it out.

They seized £35m of drugs, including heroin.

Royal Marines' bullseye shot stops £35m illegal drugs shipment in the Middle East

It comes as the latest in a series of drug seizures by the Royal Navy in the Gulf region.

One small not-quite quibble here.

According to Catholic teachings, Christ is just as present in the Eucharist whether it’s being carried to detainees in a monstrance or a simple vessel.

But the monstrance is a particularly solemn and traditional way of dramatizing that presence.

For those not fluent in Catholic: refusing the Monstrance is not denying prisoners the Eucharist, it is refusing Christ himself, since Christ is present in the Monstrance.

About a month ago, the Trump administration got rid of the de minimis exemption, whereby packages valued under $800 could slide in without import duties. Now there's a backlog as the government can't process all of this paperwork, leading to UPS just destroying packages
