One of the most exciting works of my career, years in the making. We used high-throughput precision genome editing to test the fitness effects of thousands of natural variants. Our findings challenge the long-held assumption that common variants are inconsequential.

I can add my n=2 anecdotal experience.
I suffered a lot from allergies back in Israel, and since moving to Sweden, I'm completely allergy-free 🙌 (but every home visit, they come back with a vengeance!).
My partner had no allergies back home, and here she does 🤧

This is how you revolutionize science 🕺
#TCTeAC
@odedrechavi.bsky.social says he wants to change science for the better.

How? I’m still not quite sure. But 1.5 days into #TCTeAC, the plan seems to involve, among other things, walk-up songs, jumping, dancing, and a hefty serving of joy.

I used Memrise when I started to learn Swedish (they also have Polish). I don't know if they use AI nowadays, but anyway, they rely a lot on short clips of a variety of native speakers.

We got today samples of iSpacer from SunJinLab.

It seems promising, although might be a bit too thin on the short side of the rectangle.
I'll update once we've tested it properly.
