Louay sent me these photos of his children. Thank you to Ruth Marshall for your donation. Let's work for more

It's obvious they need more help, look at sweet Malak not yet two months old, she has known only hardship. Love alone cannot keep her warm, but you can

A thread on the harms of AI in its current form, and the lack of legislative control over its implementations.

Whenever I repost this, it's because another post has been added. The thread is long.
I see so many #ActuallyAutistic support pages, groups, etc diving enthusiastically & headfirst into using AI for banners, infographics etc. I ask you please to reconsider. The environmental impacts & ethical concerns are not worth the tradeoff. Do some research. It's easy and fun, but it's not good.

Im so close to getting the memoir done!! Right now learning to letter on the fly has been scary and exciting. I've been really happy with the results and doing it this way is so much easier to edit. I feel like such a luddite sometimes.

Still raising funds to save us before work kicks in next year. Still a lot on our plate. But we are fighting for it. Tess will likely never take commissions again, so my job is to make sure we get the back log out and everyone has access to digital versions of her work.
Guess who has two thumbs and has to raise 1k by the 28th And 3k by the 10th? Work will not begin again for me until next year so I have to try to save us while also handling shipping and re-lettering. We need help. Storage is at risk first. New sales incoming.

And here's a little sneak peek at who's going to visit Hector next week. You might be familiar with these two—a real estate agent on a Carnivore Diet, and a former Vovoide of Wallachia looking to become an expat.

After years of research and trials, the WHO this year recommended the first new tool to fight malaria in decades: spatial repellents. They last up to a year and they could help fight malaria as well as dengue and other diseases - and protect refugees.

When the sales drop, please remember that!

Nobody's clamouring for AI games, nobody's mad that games don't feature AI, there's a total and utter lack of demand for it. The only demand is from business heads who think it'll save them money, audiences and creatives are rejecting it.

#ActuallyAutistic friends who used to/still do toe walking, why do you think you did/do it?

As a child, it made me happy, it just felt right, like i was more agile and could move more easily through spaces. I'm not sure it was a contact sensory thing, it felt more like a body intuition thing.
