Bob Dylan review: Five-star performance for stunning concert at Gleneagle in Killarney
Bob Dylan, 84, may not have spoken much to the Killarney audience, but he still produced a magnificent gig with a hugely impressive band

Fabulous version of Lakes of Pontchartrain ended Bob Dylan’s show in Killarney tonight. A very touching moment.

Looking back at the very first gospel show.

“Catcalls and boos, to be sure, echoed throughout the 2200 seat former vaudeville palace. But mostly, the audience sat in stunned silence.”

Over twenty years since Bob Dylan was last in Belfast and I think he came back just to warble "I can tell a Proddy from a mile away" on Goodbye Jimmy Reed and know that only a few folk will have any idea what he just said. Golden.

Just home from the second night of Bob Dylan at Waterfront Hall, Belfast. Pretty much the same set list as last night, but closed tonight's show with a little local colour with a cover of this Van Morrison song.

Part of my weekend routine used to be listening to Pod Dylan while I made breakfast, did the dishes etc. Thrilled I get to repeat that routine with @robkellycreative.bsky.social this weekend. Check out "God Knows" on Songs of Experience!

The Supper Club film is one of the holy grails of Dylan collecting. Even the Dylan Archives is prohibited from showing the footage to researchers. Almost no one has seen it in 30 years.

I watched it one afternoon this summer, sitting with the director. Here's the story. It lives up to the hype.

By the end of this month, Tony Garnier will have played with Bob Dylan in 3,326 of his concerts.

This is a staggering 80% of all Dylan's concerts over his entire career.

I love the fact that Scorsese's 3½-hour No Direction Home documentary on Bob Dylan can work as an audio doc as well.

I think most film documentaries can work as long podcasts, especially for repeat listens.
