I think it would be fun if writers who love language started intentionally writing more strangely as AI flattens written "content" into a mono-voice. it would cool I think if writers responded by focusing their individual efforts on cultivating a really unique voice that's hard to copy

What the fuck does the owner of Plumpjack Wines, who dines at the French laundry during lockdown, who dated Trump Jr’s wife, who looks like an 80s movie villain, know about acting fucking culturally normal
I have seen three recs for TRADING PLACES so far in the last two weeks and they have made me aware this movie was mismarketed back in the day. I've always assumed it was a prince-and-pauper fish-out-of-water comedy, ho fucking hum. It actually turns out to be about punishing amoral rich old farts.

Dude. Yes. Alito and Thomas are of course the standout examples, but all of the Republican justices have tells in their writing and their questioning indicating that they are, to varying degrees, marinating their brains in dumb bitch juice
My theory, fwiw, is that Supreme Court Justices are not immune to Twitter brain poisoning. I suspect all six have horrific information environments and have therefore lost the ability to understand the people who don't agree with them.
The part that I can't figure out is what John Roberts thinks he is doing. He used to seem to be a judge who was very attentive to appearances, I think on a theory that you can't draw too much attention to yourself without undermining your ability to continue to shape the law.
