Does anyone happen to know what the rules are for caucusing if you’re planning to move to a different precinct? My intuition is that I could caucus but not become a delegate. I’ve looked around for a rule about this but haven’t been successful in finding it

Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

Minnesota is spreading
Feels like society’s really broken down in the US in a way that’s deeply traumatic.

But also there are college students knocking on doors asking for shovels (they’re not well-prepared) and helping trapped motorists by shoveling and pushing out cars. Up to 24 of them now, wandering streets together

When we started this list of Minnesota businesses taking part in the Jan. 23 economic blackout we didn't realize quite what an undertaking it would be, but we are now at more than 250 and counting.

Keep 'em coming!

Deleted a less vague post but an invitation to fact check - is this a trusted source? Do I know the person who posted this? Do we have any mutuals?

If I believe the info is correct, is there a way to verify it with a trusted or more familiar source before sharing?

@metrotransitmn.bsky.social please, friends, stop the targeted fare enforcement right now on BRT. I have seen several instances of people terrified thinking agents are feds. Our neighbors are anxious, confused, & afraid every time they step out the door. Please stop adding to it—please.

Thank you to our neighbors who have come together and sent more than 1,000 letters in support of an Eviction Moratorium. Haven't done so yet? It takes less than a minute to send a letter to Governor Walz, all of the Minneapolis City Council, and Mayor Frey: actionnetwork.org/letters/acti...

As folks protest, remember that kettling (surrounding & detaining groups) is a thing. Consider your personal risk level & preparedness (meds, when last ate, etc) before joining a group on a bridge, on a highway, or in a tunnel.

Or even a good means of political communication. I feel like microblogging gives the delusion that you have a direct line of communication with the decision makers, when really you do not at all. It all gives the vibe of “I posted at the Dems so hard why aren’t they listening to me?”
