2025 was a year where personally I went through loss of a beloved family member and I got to welcome in a new family member. In April our beloved Eddie passed away from heart failure. I grieved him every day. But in September we were able to welcome Yeon-ja in our family and home. She is so blessed.
No matter what we on this platform think about Donald Trump, we should wish for the safety of our sailors serving out there. I was a sailor on a ship in the Persian Gulf when Iran would send their P3 aircraft and speedboats out of nowhere. Just imagine a drone heading rapidly toward your ship.

I think it will likely happen if there are no major changes.
This is just insane. It’s only a matter of time before DHS kills another innocent person here.

DO NOT even approve more funding
I am horrified to hear ICE murdered another person in Minneapolis this morning. This violence is wreaking havoc on our communities and it must stop. The President needs to remove these federal agents from our cities now.

Kristi Noem must resign and the dehumanizing policies must end immediately.

That’s called a cover up. The federal government is covering up these crimes.
NEWS: Minnesota investigators just said they were unable to do any work on the scene where Border Patrol agents shot and killed a US citizen.

They even went so far as to obtain a search warrant, and DHS still blocked their access to the scene.

State officials said they took the unusual step of obtaining a search warrant for the scene but were still denied access by Department of Homeland Security officials.

In Colorado, we haven't had a Republican governor elected in over 20 years. GW Bush was the last Republican presidential candidate who won Colorado in 2004. Our last GOP Senator, Cory Gardner lost in 2020. The reason: the GOP brand of being very far right wing is very toxic in the state.
Four of the busload of Republican candidates for Colorado governor debate tonight: a longtime legislator trying to pull her party back from the far right, a sheriff eager to help with deportations, a relative unknown, and a MAGA podcaster who calls for mass executions.

Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."

Imagine if they could have just said "we need more military bases in Greenland" instead of "we're going to take Greenland". That would have saved us all this fucking trouble with the NATO alliance.
According to the New York Times, the US, Denmark, and NATO are negotiating a framework to grant the US limited sovereignty over parts of Greenland. The arrangement would resemble the UK’s base agreements on Cyprus, allowing US military construction and operations. #Greenland

After decades of service to our country, a career that started as a Navy pilot and finished as a three star admiral, I was removed from my position without cause.

I still have more to give, more to fight for, more work to do — and I am not done serving.

If we had an actual president who doesn’t have vendetta against his political opponents and governs like a real American president, Trump’s words would have more credibility within the United States and other countries.
Trump told POLITICO it’s “time for new leadership in Iran,” accusing Khamenei of destroying the country through violence and fear. The remarks followed Khamenei’s online attacks blaming Trump for unrest. #Iran
