The tiktok-ization of games. Once a machine can generate a "casual game" instantly, everyone will be doom-scrolling shallow experiences mixed with AI cat videos and ads telling you how easy it is to do all that to get rich and how 7 minutes of exercise a day turns you into AI Bruce Lee. Can't wait.

Most people are gaming at 1080p, right now! At 8 GB of VRAM, and 16 GB of RAM! Generative AI bullshit means the number of people who will be at that spec for the foreseeable future is pretty dang high!!

this happens so often 😂 my solution is to write it down! Makes you feel like you engaged with the new idea (which, to be fair, you DID), and then you have it there later when you decide to come back to it! Writing things down is an underrated tool

Lots of good takes on the text, but IMHO this is one of the most important ones for devs (and people) to understand. The vocal minority is a minority after all, and their opinion rarely matches the rest.
Changing what they don't like tends to make the game worse for everyone else.
