Insurers follow the data. The data that underlines their bottom line, but it's the data that helps us, too.
Because the vaccine prevents chronic hepatitis B for which there is no cure and the lifelong treatment costs more than a single birth dose of the vaccine. Insurance companies recognize this is a no brainer.
Brought to you by prevention beats treatment any day.

The priority is to stop current abuse. And there's so much abuse to be stopped. This is why changing the system that enables is is always a game of catch-up.

Ah, so that's it.
Every right-wing oligarch, podcaster, hack, Russian apologist, paid influencer, and bot has been activated in a coordinated manner to attack Europe after the EU fined Musk.

Britain's Labour party is throwing poor and working-class immigrants -- the majority of those seeking asylum -- under the omnibus.
My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

Happy birthday to the incomparable Jack Davis!

One of EC's mainstays, and the artist on the infamous "Foul Play" from Haunt of Fear in 1953. This one sent Dr. Wertham into a rage.

In the 1960s & 70s Davis became one of the most sought after magazine cover illustrators. I used to collect them!

How does making people who have a national health service pay more help people who don't pay less?
The UK reached an “agreement in principle” with the U.S. to raise its spending on prescription drugs.

This outrageous giveaway to Big Pharma does nothing to lower prices for American consumers.

It's just another example of the Trump admin trying to disguise a bad deal as a win.

Fentanyl. Drug Overdoses, including Fentanyl, are not even in the top 20 causes of death in the USA. Cancer, Diabetes, Covid, Heart Disease all in the top 10, and all have had their research funding cut. They aren't murdering just Venezuelans. However they are killing us much slower.

An independent researcher has shown that the book's conclusion was, if not inaccurate, incomplete...even if its thesis remains robust.
It’s one of the most influential social psychology studies ever. Was it all a lie?

Research based on recently unsealed records claims the book When Prophecy Fails leans on lies, omissions, and serious manipulation.

A classic book on UFO believers and their "cognitive dissonance" after aliens failed to land is called into question.

And paid for.
Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

TV already laid the foundation.
I think it’s pretty clear at this point that one of the main impacts of LLMs is to disrupt thinking: to make it so that far too many people never properly learn how to do it, and then to control the output so there are thoughts that people never learn how to think.

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

I hope you're not getting your coffee etc. from Starbucks right now. If you are, this is the reason supplies are running out.

I hope you will take your business someplace else...not because of the strike, but because of its goals.
Hundreds of Starbucks baristas and labor organizers blockaded Starbucks' largest distribution center in York, Pennsylvania, halting distribution of syrups, coffee beans, and other supplies to the entire northeast.

This escalation is part of @sbworkersunited.org's ongoing strike.
