Yay! My friend Alison is in the photo. These folks collect fruit from residential trees and redistribute it. Of course, they have to get there faster than the squirrels!

Hong Kong's own Grenfell Towers disaster. The buildings were all scaffolded up in highly flammable bamboo and green mesh. The stuff lit up and this is what happens. They were phasing out bamboo, which is a typical politician's way of correcting a problem. I suspect the "phasing" part is done now.

The left joins with right against the middle takes on the Trump/Mamdani meeting are way off. There is nothing substantive here. There will be no policy breakthroughs. That’s not what this is about. It’s about a young smart guy who knew how to play an old fool who worships stars.

So. For #Caturday... I have a large garden and don't mind the neighbor cats visiting. Jellybean is very friendly. Bean is cautious. This cat lives in an apartment building about half a block away (I've seen the kitty lounging on the balcony there) and will dart off when I approach.
