The destruction or suppression of cultural artefacts is not a new phenomenon, whether intentional or not. Humans have a general propensity to eventually destroy what we create, and literature is no exception.

Many buy from Amazon these days, which takes custom away from smaller businesses. Independent retailers have to compete even harder to maintain the footfall. Consider buying from a smaller chain. Even better, buy from an independent bookstore if you're able. 💪
