At this point in time, even if there is understandable reasoning behind it (history of being one of the first Machinima Things, maybe they have done this for a decade+,) I just cannot watch any sort of commentary or essay where the avatar is a Halo Dude Holding A Gun.

Sometimes I learn about 12km asteroids hitting Jupiter & I end up thinking how close we are to the world just ending one day in a way we can't do anything about, stuck as observers to the end, and I feel so small & tired. And then my cat shoves his face into mine to demand love and it's... better.

G-Anime was a great con. Significantly smaller than I expected (attendance is down from pre covid days) but an excellent con designed for hanging out with friends, taking photos, being dorks, and eating food. Absolutely looking forward to next year (with hopefully less snow)

I finished my Nina dress from Sakizo and got to show her at Ganime today. It was delightful to see her get excited! These were shot at a church and are straight off the camera, I'm excited to look at my pics of her once I am home! #bjd #bjdsewing #minifee

It's a little thing to be proud of but I try to be serious about my panels and part of that is making sure I can always connect so I bring my own adapters... It's rarely needed but when I do need either one they're a lifesaver.

So hey new virus mutation just dropped. If you have a horrible sore throat, fever that won't go down with NSAIDs, bad headaches, PLUS all the other symptoms of the flu, but are testing negative for COVID and Flu A&B on home tests?

I continually struggle with post cancer, post thyroid removal body issues, but the biggest is my inability to wear layers anymore. I want to wear suits again. I want to look dapper and wear a button up shirt and tie, damn it!

the way this extends past just fanfiction and into general queer spaces is not only annoying but almost dysphoric because i hate being labeled by anyone as either a top or bottom for my actions
most of the "bottom" behaviors are just "feminine" traits and i think some of you need to think abt that

Top/bottom is not a personality trait, a power dynamic, etc. Fan fic writers PLEASE I beg you, stop thinking gay sex positions are hogwarts houses. Nobody seems like a top or bottom in real life. It means nothing.

Finding a Denny's with country fried steak just made my new year. It's such a special treat for me because it isn't really available in Toronto, so now I am full of tasty food and ready for a nap.
