I am one of the founders and lead writer of superforest, a double act designing games and books in Scotland.

Currently working on trying to get my first manuscript, Little Bird, published.
So far so good. I've managed to write just over 8,000 words, which puts me on track to get 30,000 by the end of the month. #Writevember

My WIP is very much inspired by my experiences at Uni as well as A Wizard of Earthsea and One Piece. #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompt #WriteSky

Not really. Especially once I reached my teens. It was very freeing and I cherished that little bit of independence.

Also occasionally scarring. I recall reading a few books that gave me nightmares. #Bookvember #WriteSky #WritingCommunity

I write for myself, but try to keep a balance between the stories that I find enjoyable to tell and the stories I wish I'd read when I was younger.

What kind of audience do you hope to reach with your work? Who do you think needs it the most? #WritingPrompt

Day 3 of #writevember and 3,000 words written.

Are they good words? Impossible to know. That's for future me to sort out while editing. My job is just to put words on the page.

All of the the apprentices at the University are draped in yellow and the Dancing Daffodil club is painted several eye-watering shades of yellow making hideous to behold and impossible to ignore.

There's a single orange object and it's a questionable jar of pickles. #NovemberWorldbuilders
It's #NovemberWorldbuilders!
We're talking about colors in our worlds! Tell me about something in your world that's YELLOW or ORANGE? I find that these two are often underrated/underused in worldbuilding, so I'd love to hear what you have. Maybe something symbolic of the sun or made of gold?

This looks fun and it might help me polish up my manuscript, Little Bird.

Red is the colour of blood and fire. Of vengeance and violence. Of twisted justice and old feuds. For Sibyl, red is the colour left behind by death. It's the colour of grief. #NovermberWorldbuilders
Welcome to #NovemberWorldbuilders!
This week's theme is COLORS! Tell me about something in your world that's RED. Do you use it symbolically? Do you have anything special in your worldbuilding that's red. Maybe an animal, jewels, a garment, a flower, or something more strange and magical?

Day 1 of #writevember and I've managed put down 1,000 words, which is a good start. Hopefully I can keep up the pace.

Mrs Hark here and aiming for 30,000 words by the end of the month. I'm working on Young Raven the sequel to my first manuscript Little Bird, which I'm still working on getting published.

Day 22 of working on my second manuscript. In my excitement to get back to writing I 'forgot' how much work I needed to get done before I can properly get stuck in and just write the manuscript.

Day 1 of working (primarily) on my second manuscript. After weeks of editing I am so happy to get back to just writing, because grammar doesn't count until at least the second draft. #writing #grammar #indiewriting #booksky #elhark
