made a diagram illustrating the two types of silksong boss (slightly parody but you get the idea)

"bloodmangler the forgotten", portrayed as some epic dual wielding six eyed creature in an orange cloak, has a list of cool abilities to his right: three phase monstrosity, 20 feet tall, every greatnail swing causes a "bloodsplosion", teleports, has lightning fast multi-hit combos, swats you out of the air. he is beaten in 4 attempts and is the best boss you have ever seen

hanging up a ton of fly paper around common fly congregation spots also helped cull the population somewhat, but they didn't provide any kind of actual end to the infestation like boiling my pipes did since that seems to be where they lay eggs and live and stuff

slowly pouring lots of boiling water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks (and bathtub just to be safe) multiple times a day for a few days worked for me when i was dealing with a bunch of fruit flies a while back, it diminished the population a bunch after a few days and they were gone a week later
