To celebrate SHE IS HERE, I changed my avatar to “Happy Hound,” one of the drawings—all (very!) loosely based on Early Medieval images from the Book of Kells, Lindisfarne Gospels, and Pictish symbol stones—in the book. Along with poems, stories, essays, and a new novella, “Many Things in Dumnet.”

So DOD risked civilian airspace to obliterate some fucking balloons; when FAA found out and asked them to stop they refused; FAA did what it had to keep people safe; when the public rightly freaked out, DOD relented, lied, and blamed the FAA.

Sounds like Hegseth!

He was a lovely man. We’ll all miss him.
Sad to hear of Jeff Carver 's passing. So smart, sweet and positive! Wise, supportive--and his wide-canvas novels were such great reads! And the audiobooks! (I once asked him how he got the amazing Stefan Rudnciki to narrate his books. Answer: he ASKED him to.) What a guy. I miss him.

you could simply leave the “Jewish” part out of this

it is a choice and it is a bad one and I would really, truly prefer that people ostensibly on my side of the political spectrum not make it
I have to say, I do not love this new trend of large liberal accounts with millions of followers identifying Jews.

This looks to be an extraordinary overperformance for Dems. With more than three-fourth of the vote in, the Dem leads by more than 20%.

I have some urgent medical care coming up next week & I need help to cover co-pays. If you can donate the cost of a cup of coffee it can add up to help me reach my needs. Sharing this post helps too.
