I discovered today that I had half a packet of brown gravy (opened who knows how long ago), perhaps from making a shepherd's pie or something, so, now I'm thinking I will add it to the chicken (not turkey) gravy packet so as to make more gravy.

That reminds me, I did buy a box of Krusteaz cranberry orange bread mix. However, I don't have OJ to add to it, which is recommended. May bake it today, anyway, can't have a thanksgiving without a dessert.
Holiday baking has officially commenced in our household! So far I’ve made cranberry orange bread, a “Nantucket cranberry pie” (basically an upside down, nutty cranberry cake), and a unique Polish apple dessert with a shortbread base and meringue/crumble combo topping (szarlotka or jabłecznik)
