The secret to gravy is to draw hot and blow them up, lol. I generally ignore allies. You're not proactive vs cindra, kayo, and a lot of random stuff. I do agree rn that into a lot of the popular and/or strong stuff we are largely racing.

Isn't sage just creating a space for the second type of thing? Pushed stuff is for 40 life formats; i think Blitz is largely being sunset for better or worse because it just isn't played.

oh, note i forgot to include
anothos is for converting aggressively; it improves your rate when casting auras (hammer cast aura is a 3 card 10/11/12 depending on aura, as opposed to fist which is a 3 card 8/9/10) so you want it when you're the proactive deck. earth heroes, rhinar, etc.

test of iron grip is cindra tech, line it up w/ pedestal to scam them.
sometimes you have to gamble but honestly that matchup is quite bad without something high variance going your way so I was overall pretty content with it even if it's corny sometimes

deck is typically looking to beat ppl down w/ max red auras and pummels, d-reacts are for like assassin and ninja.
largely my conclusion on the brute matchup is that you can't win by being an adult and blocking so you instead play like a gorilla.

Fair, honestly. To the original point-- yeah, I'm feeling a bit disenchanted with this metagame. SUP was a really exciting set with a bunch of fun hero designs, and they've all failed to make any splash because of a pushed boardstate deck. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Made top 8 of PQ! Gatekept by Verdance but had fun. Pleiades is a blast and a lot stronger than I thought she'd be. Perhaps the rare 'the hero is just actually hard and it isn't cope' guardian?
