Hi!

I'm Kim Steiner, and I'm a Cat Shaped designer! I have a focus in Level Design, but due to the Industry being what it is and a HEAVY dose of ADHD, I am very much a generalist.

I'm pleased to report, they changed the recipe back.

Makes me wonder how many other people stopped getting them too.

Back in the spring, my favorite ice cream (chocolate mochi) changed their mochi recipe and suddenly it was grainy and gross. And they increased the price from $6 to $8.

So I stopped buying it.

In August I noticed they all went on clearance.

Last week I notice they're back and at a reduced price.

Because it's not about having free time or not having it. It's the need to help your body transition from "go go go" to "able to rest" using a video game as proxy replacement for work.

It's the "refill the cup" analogy too, but you're refilling by dunking it in the punch bowl. XD

I am not a big automation person (I did NOT like Satisfactory and as a result never even tried Factorio or Dyson Sphere.)

Astroneer - for me - was all about exploring, gathering, and building my perfect base. Then getting to do that over and over again on new planets. XD

It *has* automation - but that's mid to late game and actually completely optional!

Every time I pop in to "check out what they've updated" I lose a month, just like Stardew Valley, LOL.
