Hi!

I'm Kim Steiner, and I'm a Cat Shaped designer! I have a focus in Level Design, but due to the Industry being what it is and a HEAVY dose of ADHD, I am very much a generalist.

I've been in the Industry for almost 18 years, and I've gotten to work on a ton of cool games with super cool people.
It's really funny to see streaming services we canceled back in August advertising their deal that's a fraction of the price.

I remember this song and dance when cable did it.

I am invincible! (I own a bunch of cookbooks including my grandmother's church cookbook.)
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.

I need help. So this scene in Avatar: The Last Airbender is a specific reference to a Chinese historical epic film. I thought it was from 'Curse of the Golden Flower' (2006) but apparently it's not. Does anyone remember a scene like this in a live action movie? I'm going insane.

LRT: labor unions were invented to protect workers from unsafe work environments. at kotaku we had "free personal data scrubbing services" as part of our negotiated contract. gamedev safety (physical or psychological) also has to be negotiated collectively rather than on an individual level.

It is playable in your browser, works best for me on my phone if that helps, and it has some little quirky fine tuning things that all jam games have, which I’ll fix after judging closes. Without any ado… 😅

Empire Strikes Back is the worst movie of the OG trilogy and I don't trust men who argue with me about it.

We are doing 25% off in the shop this week, for all your stocking stuffer and fidget toy and geeky rainbow needs!

And because they might be our most popular item of 2025 (can't guess why) I made A LOT of clicky dumpster fires!

Ghost Hunter Simulator is AI Free. Completely. I would go so far as to say GHS is anti-ai.

Friday we’ll have an unboxing of a #PRGift from the devs of Tainted Grail.

See y’all maybe tomorrow afternoon for a #PAXU recap ✌🏾

"But Kim, you don't wear perfume?"

Look.

Okay, all the stuff is back in the closet. I've got two boxes of stuff to donate. (Large Uhaul boxes!) I am gonna have to bring the living room boxes up later. I'm exhausted.
I found the end of the closet. Now I have a box of costumes I need to sort and get rid of the extra pieces.

At least I can do that sitting down. XD

Kim, you bought the dress 5 *years* ago and have never worn it. Not even to try it on.

Get. Rid. Of. It.

It's not bringing joy!
The easiest way to clean this and make sure it stays clean is to get rid of things.

Bonus - I can take it to local thrift stores which are about to be slammed for Christmas.

I'm going to try to reorganize my closet.

Wish me luck.

Oh, for context - my closet is like 20 feet long and in the eaves of the attic.

We decided to sort them. We have a small stack of 40 cards all over $10. Many in the 10-20 range and a couple around 50.

He's asked me to sell them so he can buy more cards.

Yep, that checks out.
Banker boxes. From when we all played at TFB.

I'm trying to figure out if I want to sort and price them at all, or just let the kid maybe have some spendy cards.
