LRT: labor unions were invented to protect workers from unsafe work environments. at kotaku we had "free personal data scrubbing services" as part of our negotiated contract. gamedev safety (physical or psychological) also has to be negotiated collectively rather than on an individual level.

i think the real reason we don’t have a female president is because women in politics are rewarded for accumulating power very cynically due to establishment politics being patriarchal but then being cynical doesn’t serve them when they have to ask voters for support.
