His slip of the tongue reveals who’s really in charge. trib.al/mIvP0yE

“Illinois governor says we’re provoking actions that are unlawful,” Miller said on CNN. “If I put federal law enforcement and National Guard into a nice sleepy Southern town, is anyone gonna riot?”

"We’re traveling nearly 2,000 miles on I-95 from Miami to Maine, and pausing at virtually every rest stop. Our project is simple and vast at once: to ask fellow travelers where they’re headed, and where they think America is going too."

I thin just like with RFKJ a brain worm would starve to death.

Also, even if it was a thing, he has Deep Venous Insufficiency. (which is what they told us, so maybe something worse) And that does not scream "healthy cardiovascular system" to me.

My first thought was “wow I hope this guy didn’t give out his name because he could absolutely be charged” and yup, he is correct to stay anonymous.

This man’s account is shocking. His neighbors’ situation is shocking. The entire Chicago raid is shocking.
On the other side was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for his help.
"I wasn't planning on letting her stay, but I didn't know what the hell was going on," the man said of his Venezuelan migrant neighbors. But he quickly relented. The little girl was inconsolable and hid under his bed.
"I didn't want them to take her," said the man, who didn't want to be named because he fears he'll be targeted by federal authorities for his actions.
"I gave her my bedroom, and I just told her,
'Just stay there. Don't open, don't, shh, just stay quiet," he recalled telling the mom and daughter as he choked back tears.

Ok that's weird. I didn't know much about her, but that's weird.

You'd be tarred and feathered!

Everything with plain cream cheese. (NOT TOASTED)

Yeah, that, or a cinnamon raisin toasted with butter for instance, is a perfectly fine order, it's all that savory stuff on the bagel doughnut.

That is 100% the best scene in the play.

When I saw this, I knew it had to be from a LONG time ago.

Yeah, the cinnamon raisin bagel with that is some kinda pathology.

I noticed a similar thing with the WGA signs during the writers strike, but they weren't as pretty.

Oh, today's episode is the most fun. Particularly for when we get to discuss how Walt Disney did not anticipate his animators perhaps were better equipped than any picket line on Earth for creating union placards. bsky.app/profile/acek...

The random people who called into this C-SPAN session had better questions for Mike Johnson than most corporate media outlets

C-SPAN caller to Mike Johnson: "Hearing you say that 'everyone is smiling' in cities where troops have been rolled into feels dystopian and insane watching the response to it."
