Here's the new podcast . .
We actually recorded before the Grok Holocaust-denial investigation launched, but the section on WWII leader Philippe Pétain and why praising him might be illegal in France is very relevant.
Plus;
🇫🇷 Why MPs want a fast food super-tax
🇫🇷 Is the Louvre really falling down
Talking France: Fast food slowly kills French restaurants and Pétain provokes new rumble in France

Horrifying. And, as many people are pointing out, likely illegal - Holocaust denial is a crime in France.
This week a criminal investigation was opened into comments praising Vichy leader Philippe Pétain, be interesting to see what happens to Grok . . .
When Musk's Grok repeats one of the central lies of the Holocaust deniers, it then doubles down [see replies] and insists that a) Holocaust denial is free speech and b) it has an evidentiary basis.

This is where we are.
On est pas bien là ? :)

The traffickers were jailed but the man steering the boat was cleared after the court recognised that he had been forced.

The judge told him: "The court hopes that you will find in France the better life you were seeking when you boarded that boat."

The bill is mainly symbolic but this is still a very significant moment. Not only is it the 1st time the 🇫🇷 parliament has passed a bill proposed by the far-right, but the centre-right and centrist MPs either backed it or abstained. Cordon sanitaire around the far-right is well and truly breached 😱
Far-right win 'historic' victory in French parliament
