Democrats are united in the fight to protect your health care.

Republicans think they can mislead the public and get away with it, but the American people see what they're really doing: raising costs and ripping away coverage. We’re not backing down.

It’s Day 10 of the Trump Shutdown.

The government is closed because Republicans don’t want to provide healthcare to working-class Americans.

Extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits NOW.

Republicans are cutting Medicaid, attacking Medicare and gutting health research.

Your health care is under attack.

House Democrats are fighting back.

People in New York, Nevada, and Maryland are ALREADY seeing the sticker shock of Republicans' health care betrayal. 🧵👇

Millions of Americans will either see their premiums skyrocket or lose their health insurance altogether if Republicans don't extend critical tax credits now. I stand ready to work with my colleagues to protect the healthcare of my constituents and so many across the country.

Congressional Republicans have proposed zero ideas to improve our health care system and help people.

Maybe they should let the Democrats continue to handle this one.

Undocumented immigrants aren’t eligible to participate in ACA, receive tax credits, or co-share programs. It’s already the law & that’s not the issue right now.

We need to reopen the government, protect health care, & prevent the hikes in costs for everyone if we do not extend the ACA Tax Credits.

Republicans are willing to let critical ACA assistance expire as families are staring down a 114% increase in their premiums.

In Denver, a family of four could see their annual premiums go up by over $2,500.

Enough games. Let’s open the government, extend ACA assistance, & keep care affordable.

While Republicans refuse to return to Washington to address the health care crisis, House Democrats are holding a hearing today on the need to cancel the cuts, lower the cost and save your health care.

Instead of protecting health care, House Republicans are ripping it away.

Instead of trying to reopen the government, House Republicans are on vacation.

Instead of putting the American people first, House Republicans are prioritizing billionaires and wealthy corporations.

Enough is enough.

Everyday Americans already pay too much to see a doctor or visit the hospital.

The Republican healthcare crisis is making things worse.

You deserve better.

If Congressional Republicans don’t act now to extend Affordable Care Act enhanced premium tax credits, millions will see their health care costs skyrocket.

With open enrollment starting November 1st, I shared with @wusa9.com.web.brid.gy why the time to act is now.

It’s been one week since Republicans shut down the government.

And they won’t even show up to work.

Democrats are in D.C., ready to negotiate on a budget that protects your health care and lowers your costs.

Families in Sacramento and across the country are united: extend the ACA tax credits.

Republicans are out of step with the American people. They need to listen to their constituents and get back to work.

It’s DAY SIX of the Republican Retreat.

Republicans shut the government down and the House Republican Speaker has canceled votes this week. He doesn’t even want to come to the table to negotiate with us on how to lower the cost of your health care.

KFF finds a majority of Americans that buy their own health insurance won’t be able to afford it if health care tax credits expire. Democrats and most Americans agree: we need a bipartisan solution to reopen the government and lower the cost of health care.

As Congress debates the future of the ACA’s enhanced premium tax credits, new KFF polling finds significant concern about affordability if they expire at the end of the year.

Explore the findings: https://on.kff.org/4q7ElGy
KFF graphic titled "If ACA Enhanced Premium Tax Credits Expire, Marketplace Premiums Could More Than Double for Many Enrollees. New KFF Polling Shows:"
It includes two sections of data from a KFF Health Tracking Poll (September 23-29, 2025). On the left, blue circles illustrate that 7 in 10 of those who purchase their own insurance say they could not afford their coverage if premiums doubled. On the right, green circles show that about 4 in 10 Marketplace enrollees would go without health insurance coverage if premiums doubled.
