the core of this book is really the relationships and characters which I really liked. definitely would recommend!

but I think my favorite aspect was the history and romance! there’s a really interesting commentary here on race and immigration as well. the sci-fi and action do keep a good pace but they aren’t as well developed as a novel specifically from either of those genres…

The kiss is to me it’s so meaningful. It can be interpreted in different ways but all of them (whether romantic or platonic) have the same general meaning; the deep love and affection Túrin had for Beleg and the last tragic moments of goodbye💔 (they are one of my fav ships though huhu I’m sad again)

so I just watched an interview with the duffer brothers where they said they never really watched tv growing up and they’ve never wanted to make tv shows, they’re into movies. Netflix was just the only studio willing to give them a shot, so they’re taking advantage to make movies like they dreamed
