I study fascism. I’ve already fled America.
On this week’s “More To The Story,” former Yale philosophy professor Jason Stanley explains his recent move to Canada and calls the Trump administration’s takeover of the US government a “coup.”

This book by Seth Harp was unimaginably dark, a searing and gritty investigation of the inner world of the special operations community. One of the most interesting books I’ve ever read.

WHY did I buy a 100-year-old laxative tin from eBay? Because a blind WWI vet I’m currently researching for a new project was a pharmacist and patented his own laxative pill after the war, and I couldn’t pass up owning a piece of his history!

Episode 2 of #AmericanRevolution features free Black soldier Lemuel Haynes who enlisted in Granville, Massachusetts. My 6th Great Grandfather, Benjamin Barnes, served with him. They went to Roxbury and then Ticonderoga, the latter location where they first heard the Declaration of Independence.

Didnt realise this was out but I read an early draft and it was the best thing i've read on neurodiversity in years. It surely got a lot better by the time it was published. I'm excited to read the final version.
In We See Things They’ll Never See, Chantelle Jessica Lewis and Jason Arday show how neurotypical hegemony reproduces a culture of exclusion—and how to overcome this with love, hope, and solidarity.

Oh, man. After reading the article, what it actually says is that an historian did a lot of archival work and spatial research to determine the site of a killing and then the family of the likely perpetrator stepped forward with photographs to confirm identity.
