I am just under 100$ to reaching my goal so I can get equipment to keep advocating for people with disabillities, homelessness, addiction, and more. Someone has kindly donated some tech and I just need to get a case and screen protector etc.

Hey, I am #fundraising for a new tablet device, screen protector and case after my #Lenovo died four years into use. I use large font and accessibility settings due to retinal detachments and double cataract surgery in '25.

I can't say enough good things about @ericlombardi.ca. Joining @moreneighboursto.bsky.social was one of the best things I had going for me starting in the pandemic and after. It's truly amazing what we have achieved.

Best of luck to Eric, and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for what's to come. 🫡
I’m stepping down as President and Board Member of More Neighbours Toronto, and as Chair of Build Toronto.

The brain misreads normal signals as pain, fatigue, and brain fog.

You need to be supporting a publicly funded national disability insurance plan for all those with lifelong disabilities from birth to end of life. See everyanadiancounts.com
Families and individuals shouldn’t have to shoulder the cost, that should be a societal cost. It saves the country money.

We tried leaving quite a while ago. It’s slow getting people to follow you on this and other platforms. When leaving X you leave behind so many people with disabilities and their causes. That’s why we remain there, but also try to be active on the other platforms. Anything is better than X.
I’ve decided to leave X/Twitter.
