Serious question: why does literally every bag of microwave popcorn say "DO NOT USE YOUR MICROWAVE'S POPCORN SETTING" on it, and every microwave has a Popcorn button?

Can't someone find another use for that button? It seems like an awful waste. Can I heat up some brisket on the popcorn setting?

New coffee shop opened on Lambert, sounds kind of mediocre.

Oh come on, this is a real banger.

I probably spent most of the morning making this picture. No idea why, except for the fact that I finished season 2 of Fallout and Macaulay Culkin's role in this season inspired me.

Well Garcia definitely found the most flattering picture of Miller, at least.

Woo, that 7:15pm Friday showing is hot hot hot. I guess the GOP decided against political ticket stuffing in La Habra.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that La Habra is 60% Latino.

Local theater in a VERY red area. Very strange that the first two showings are sold out except for the front, yet the third show is completely opening.

My guess is the local GOP is funneling political donations into bulk ticket purchases to boost Melanie's numbers, in order to please Der Fürtzer.

I have a confession to make: I have never actually enjoyed watching any Jay and Silent Bob movies. I've watched a bunch, but I kinda just sat there staring blankly. Like, I get why it's supposed to be funny/entertaining, but for some reason they never entertain me.

When I travel for work, I get away with things I could never get away with at home. Tonight I did something so brazen it would shock my husband and kids: I took a Shower-Bath-Shower.

I spent an hour listening to different versions of "Heroes" by artists not named David Bowie, and came to the conclusion that David Bowie recorded the only version that mattered.

Jr and Eric, for all their stupidity, are a chip off the old block:
1. Pitch idea - Made in the USA gold-colored phones for $500 and a mobile plan for $47.45/mo
2. Use GenAI to build website and create images of said phone
3. Collect $60m in non-refundable deposits

Trump's golden smartphone got delayed yet again, and now there's no date at all
The "Made in the USA" promise was quietly scrubbed months ago.

"Areal Flood Advisory" is a bad term for several reasons:
1. It literally just means "flood advisory in this general area". Why add the L?
2. When I see the notification and I'm not wearing my glasses in the morning, I misread "areal".

I saw the title and was like "WHAAAT THIS COULD BE AW- oh. It's about free climbing. Disregard."

I read about how frightened Elon Musk is, complaining about not being able to go to the grocery store. He should just have one built on his Breeding Compound in TX so he can pretend to be just like a normal person.

There are a lot of OEM-to-FBA companies in the area, based in China. I've been looking at leaving my current position, so I've been scoping the labor market. Most of these positions in Product Management (mid level management) for these companies cap the salary at $65k/yr.

Hello little (okay kinda big) house spider missing two legs, sitting there on the floor in my office.

Yes, I caught it in a cup and took it outside.
