I never realized that the narrator in the classic Xmas revels album is Robert J Lurtsema, then host on morning pro-musica. I didn’t recognize his voice when connected to emotion of pace of any kind.

“But the best explanation (for the Xmas Blues) is that this is simply the cost of being a stay-at-home parent at #Christmas time. It’s not that anything is particularly bad; it’s just that everything bad is particular.”

But hopefully these 12 tips from my blog will help you have a merrier #Xmas.

In the spirit of #turkeyday, let me share this #mst3k memory. When watching The Pod People, the child charachter says to the Alia. “Trumpy, you can do magic!” To which Crow adds “It’s called evil kid.”

Rings different today.

I was today year's old when I learned that the musical Godspell played a 5-month run in #Maseru, #Lesotho in 1973 as the first shows at the then-Holiday Inn in Maseru.

It would later play #Wits Theatre in #Johannesburg to a mixed-race audience in 1974. Wild times!

A specter is haunting Europe—the specter of thought leadership...Perhaps it is easier to explain thought leaders in terms of what we are not. We are absolutely, positively not thought followers.

We moved to Geneva so my wife could run GAVI: The Vaccine Alliance’s HPV vaccine program. They’ve now hit their target of vaccinating 86 million girls, which will save 1.4 million lives. Naturally, I’m trying to figure out how much credit I get. (Hint: None.)
A Mathematical Proof that I Saved 140 Lives
Obviously I didn't, but the HPV vaccine is going to save 1.4 million

Seems like a good time to recall that the Secretary of Ed is married to someone Trump let off the hook for human trafficking.
Trump administration to announce dismantling of much of Education Dept.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order in March seeking to close the department, but only Congress has the power to do that.

The #JaylenBrown hair saga is saving the #Celtics season. He should start doing it like the WWE Blue Blazer bit . Makeit ever more ridiculous looking while declaring it's real. Then one day, he should just show up with blonde spray hair and insist it's "natural Butch Reed style.

Apparently, even if you tell people to buy someone's book, they don't like it when your review calls them obnoxious and questions them for glorifying the Jedi.

Aid Inferno isa work that is pointed, obnoxious, occasionally poorly proofread, draws over-general conclusions from her World Bank experience, ignores the spectacular success of health aid, glorifies the Jedi, cites probable lunatics; and is nevertheless insightful, heartbreaking, right about a lot,

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

A few weeks ago, when my little USAID rant was blowing up, one commenter, who I do not know, asked me a question that was at first glance irritating, at second glance fair, and at third glance existentially important (to me--not you). "In what way are you a Malawi expert?"
