It is 2025 art summary, wahoo !  (from www.deviantart.com/latortilla/a... (scroll down for 2025).
It's the yearly summary of art template, a square for every month January- A poster I drew depicting Majima in a construction cone as Kiryu looks at him, a variety of poses for Majima in the cone (it was a gif) around him Feb- A diary doodle of my cat stretching while standing on my back. It kind of looks like he was about to poop, but, whatever! I had covid in this time period March- I still had covid (there's a mark of 'I was sick' between feb and march on here). It's a drawing of Peewee Herman in profile, mid honk, tongue out, wild eyed April- Kiryu and Majima square up to fight on the street- majima is having some kind of allergic reaction to the pollen of the blooming trees around them and is wearing a mask and red eyed May- Kris stares directly at the camera, surrounded by a whirling, rushing texture (actually negative inverted tree bark) June- A variety of deltarune talksprites I drew for me and my co-host Frankie on our streams, with various expressions for Frankie as a heart-shaped soul with little bolt arms that gesture, Frankie as an evil looking version of ERAM from Deltarune, and myself as Kris (but fat), layered over the 'afk' pose where I'm slumped standing up, layered how I do to check motion July- Mettaton and Tenna in vacation wear with a little pixel art Tenna in MTT's purse August- A collage Spamton NEO on a show poster made from paper, Mettaton action figure, and cardboard parts September- A conspiracy board covered in photos I drew in various styles and materials October- A digital-traditional drawn Kris stands on a MANSWORLD pixel art background November- Tenna, arms wide, against darkness as red lines rush at him. The Knight is rushing at him, faintly, about to swing December- Noelle and Susie sit in Dess' bedroom, talking. The closet door is covered in various posters.

While not stated, we can infer that ‘Yorda’ came about because Hilda, in Japanese, is pronounced ‘Hiruda’. 昼 (hiru) is a Japanese kanji character meaning ‘daytime’. Its opposite would be 夜 (yoru) meaning ‘night’. Thus, switching out the ‘hiru’ in Hiruda for its opposite gives us ‘Yoruda’. (2/2)

ICO Trivia #4:
Junichi Hosono, who has worked alongside Fumito Ueda for each of his projects, says that Ueda derived Yorda's name from Hilda, a character from the 1968 Toei film, 太陽の王子 ホルスの大冒険 (The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun).

A segment of the ICO+SotC Limited Edition Box Set art book, 神話を紡ぐ. The relevant quote from Junichi Hosono has been highlighted. In Japanese it reads: 『ICO』のヨルダは東映動画冒険『太陽の王子 ホルスの大冒険』のヒロイン・ヒルダにかけている (笑)。細かいギャグが混じっているんです。 Translated into English: "Yorda in "ICO" is a play on Hilda, the heroine of Toei Animation's "The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun" (laughs). There are lots of little gags mixed in."

As first uncovered by dark0ssx in a YouTube video now 15 years old: Activating the 'Skeleton' feature of ICO's Debug Menu reveals a developer in-joke. An invisible wireframe office fan was placed in each map to help display the direction and speed of the wind.

ICO Trivia #1:
A mid-boss was planned for the West Arena. As shown in this art, it seemed to be a large amorphous shadow with dark tendrils emerging from it. In a 2002 interview Fumito Ueda had with Nice Games Magazine, he mentions that this segment was impossible to make, due to time restrictions.

The scene involved a large cage trap that's controlled by a lever on the high balcony. A slightly higher pulley runs horizontally across the room, functioning like a zipline. In the cage below there is a pool of darkness from which four long tendrils emerge. This boss covers an object labeled 'Idol Handle', which may be the key to progressing. A display from Nice Games Magazine, Volume 8, Page 99. In Japanese, the interviewer says:「私は反射鏡のところが作りこまれていると思ってました。仕掛けがいくつもあって、狭いところを行ったり来たりして、謎がすべて解き明かされると反射鏡がバーンと光った時の開放感が気持ち良かったです。」 Fumito Ueda responds:「実はあそこには中ボスがいたんですよね (笑)。時間的にムリだったので作れませんでしたけど。」 Translated into English, this reads: "I thought the part with the reflector was well-crafted. There were many mechanisms, and you had to go back and forth in a narrow space. When the mystery was all solved, the reflector lit up with a bang, and the feeling was great." "Actually, there was going to be a mid-boss over there (laughs). But we didn't have enough time to make it."
