We are less than 20 years away from NBC trying to make a 10 PM late night show and now late night shows are barely struggle to survive.

What a better way to follow up a documentary about Amanda Knox than watching the Haden Panettiere starring Lifetime movies on the trial from the early 2010s.

When listening to old Coast to Coast AM episodes, whenever somebody says they firmly believe OJ is guilty they immediately say something racially suspect. As somebody who firmly believes OJ is guilty, I do not want to be associated with such people lol

Johnny Knoxville is genuinely a great Fear Factor host choice. Not only has the strongly lived the "facing your fears" lifestyle, but he's personable, naturally funny with plenty of commentary to add, and a born presenter from his years as the master of ceremonies with Jackass.

Every time this lady in a local commercial says "year end" all I can hear is "urine" and it makes me giggle but also infuriate me by equal measure.

Couldn't resist and finally caved and just subscribed to a month of Lifetime Movie Club cause they only play their movies on weekends anymore and just air Nathan Fillion syndicated reruns during the week and my weekends are often full. I need to access that shit at any point I want.

The most Christian I ever am is loving the super niche musical field of "private press psych-folk" cause most of those trippy privately recorded and released psychedelic folk or Americana albums were made by former hippies in the Jesus Freak movement and the music rules, proto dreampop stuff.

The neighborhood grocery store is definitely overall more expensive than a Kroger or Food Lion, but over time they offer some really solid deals that makes going there worth it and often things are cheaper at the scan than advertised.

6 Diet Cokes for 5 dollars? What a savvy shopper I am.

I will never view a Mel Gibson movie in a way that would earn him money from it, but my group of friends were discussing our ranking of Gibson's directed movies and I semi-defended kind of liking The Passion of the Christ because accidentally Gibson made the best of the "2000s torture porn" films

Did I need to buy this at the Dollar General? No. Am I proud of myself that I did? No. Is it a good purchase? We will soon see.

It is deeply ironic that the right-wingers who own Paramount and CBS now also own one of the most openly leftist shows of the 2000s in Wonder Showzen which enjoyed nothing more than making children say communist zingers.

Trying to imagine anything more depressing than watching a 2020s Will Ferrell movie.

Even though I really like pre-Disney Star Wars, even the stuff that sucks (a lot of it), I always totally respect people who take an anti-Star Wars stance because I love my big controversial takes like "James Cameron is aggressively mid" or the many times I've trashed Tarantino.

The most basic movie nerds out there are the ones who think Tarantino is a really good writer/director. The more advanced weirdos realize there so much more interesting stuff out there than Tarantino stealing his favorite shots from foreign or b movies and saying the n-word for 2 hours.

Fact #1: Liquorice is very popular in the Netherlands, and by extension the colonial reaches of the Kingdom such as Aruba.
Fact #2: Liquorice in Dutch is called "drop."
Fact #3: Aruba is a highly multilingual society.

Anyway that's how you end up with a candy store called Drop 'N Nuts.

Matthew Lillard rocks

Matthew Lillard gives an incredible performance in Twin Peaks: The Return and is easily the best part of Scream, and Owen Wilson co-wrote and starred in some of the best Wes Anderson films.

Quentin Tarantino can go fuck himself, dude has been a bad actor in many of his own films.

Someday people like Charlie Crist whose entirely personality was a gay man playing aggressively straight man drag while marrying unfortunate women will just baffle people.
