update: i got both mom AND my student on the phone. I asked why he wasn't here today in class, he goes dead silent, and then "i was there." im like "no you weren't." then he says, "I was there, just not ur class" *awkward silence where i know he wasn't in school and i just outted him to mom*😩😂

for parent-teacher conferences.. the next parent on my schedule says "spanish speaking"... this is a total classic from my school. no one told, or thought it necessary to try and schedule them when we could have a translator and so i guess im just going to call them now??🤡 (my spanish is.. bad)

Since I made my New Year’s resolution to finish my original work I’ve written 10k… which is basically 1/5th of everything I’ve written on this project since daydreaming about it almost 2 years ago. It’s fucking amazing how to write something you need to just write 🙄🥲
