Heads are going to explode 💥

Cato Institute just nuked the lie. Immigrants have cut U.S. deficits by $14.5 TRILLION since 1994, slashing the national debt by a third.

All that “immigrants are bleeding us dry” noise? Absolute bullshit.

The Klan used to want to have marches here in the 80s/early 90s. The cops arranged to let them have their parade route in front of the county landfill. They gave up after two or three of those routes.
I once read a novel excerpt about the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, in which the government ignored their protest. Everyone left the area, everything shut down. It was terrible in this context, of course, but I always remember it when people give powerless groups the attention they crave.

Christ - the DOJ just released another tranche of the Epstein files which specifically describes Trump raping children.

Are we in hell? How did this man ever get elected?

The word armadillo is borrowed from Spanish and simply means “little armored one.” But an even better word for an armadillo, in my opinion, is the Nahuatl ayotochtli. It means “turtle rabbit.”

Just a reminder that both Ilhan Omar and Maxwell Frost have been attacked this week.

No outrage by right-wing media or even corporate media.

Now imagine if this were done to Republicans.

The entire system is rigged in favor of conservatives, folks. The double standards are just wild.

Respectfully, ICE has surely killed more than nine people this year. There are nine documented deaths. With how many thousands of people have disappeared in ICE custody, we'll only find out their death toll years from now.

ICE has to go. The whole administration has to go.

The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:

- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE
