Letting it do the first set with dye, per the dye instructions. In approx. 30 min, I'm gonna put it in a water/vinegar bath with the remaining dye and heat set it on the stove. Beyond this point, I am merely winging it.

Today I am trying dye experiment no. 2. This one is 100% wool, non-superwash, and I'm attempting to dye it with Manic Panic hair dye (because why not? I've wanted to know for a while now). Really hoping I don't end up felting it. If the MP dye doesn't work, I do have Kool-Aid, so. We'll see!

This Super Bowl Sunday, I’d like to introduce you all to the magical curse bowls used in Upper Mesopotamia and Syria in late antiquity. Written in Mandaic (as here) or Syriac Aramaic, they trap demons who trespass on a household by sucking them in with spiraling spells to the center of the bowl.

You get a bat boy rockstar. I originally had him as a sort of demon dog, but he became more bat like so I leaned into it.

Cap on the back end of the pen, or no? Can you use it one way but not the other?
I have to have the cap on the end because it messes with the weight of the pen. It's difficult to work without it.
