Mountain climbing is so interesting to me. Flying to places to hike up a mountain in frigid conditions with limited oxygen for, what? A view? Keep in mind, it’s only $35 to get into 360 Chicago and the Empire State Building. Anything higher than that, I was not meant to see.

The Dutch are a bit less subtle because they were terrorizing South Africa, Namibia, and half the Caribbean (also New York!), but they still rebranded into this weed and sex work friendly country. Amazing PR teams, but I love when people call it out.

This woman on TikTok said the British weren’t the OG colonizers, it was the Dutch and Japanese and I fear she was absolutely correct. I think people truly forget how evil Japan was. I don’t even think you can call what they did in Korea “war crimes” like it was something much more sinister.
