This will introduce an averaging mechanism.

🇩🇪 January 2025 marked the highest-ever battery electric vehicle (#BEV) registration numbers for a January in #Germany. 🚗⚡ With 34,500, BEVs made up nearly 17% of new car registrations—a 54% increase from January 2024. Plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for an additional 8.5% of the market. 🔌

During yesterday's meeting with Commissioners @wopkehoekstra.ec.europa.eu & Jessika Roswall, one re-occuring theme was the recommendation not to modify existing regulation on new vehicle #CO2standards, to ensure planning & investment security and to strengthen consumers‘ trust in electric vehicles.
